Aurora University sophomore goalie Cameron Brooks (Miami, Fla./Palmetto) led the Spartans to wins over Beloit and Carthage last week and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
The sophomore tallied seven saves and allowed only five goals as AU beat Beloit 15-7 in league play. Brooks added six saves, while allowing only three goals as Aurora beat previously undefeated Carthage 9-3.
Aurora (7-6, 3-0 MLC) will face Cornell College in a MLC contest Wednesday and will cap the week at home against Augustana in a non-league tilt Saturday.
