WAUKESHA, WI - Conference champion Augustana University is set to host the MWLC Tournament Friday and Saturday. The Vikings (16-0, 10-0 MWLC) finished off a perfect regular season with a 21-0 win over Fontbonne Tuesday evening.
Augustana will host No. 4 seed North Central (9-5, 8-2 MWLC) at 7:30 PM (CST) Friday, May 2 in one of the MWLC semifinals. The Cardinals secured the final seed with a 17-1 win over Dubuque Tuesday afternoon.
Carthage (10-6, 8-2 MWLC) earned the No. 2 seed and will face No. 3 seed Concordia (Wis.) (12-4, 8-2 MLC) at 4:30 PM (CST) Friday in the other MWLC semifinal at Augustana University.
The two winners will meet at Augustana on Saturday at 7:30 PM (CST).
Admission will be charged at the entrance as follows: $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for senior (60+), $3.00 for students and children (3-18), and there will be no charge for students of participating schools (with a student ID) or children under the age of three.
