WAUKESHA, WI - Concordia University capped off a busy week with a perfect 3-0 record. The Falcons (5-3, 3-0 MWLC) claimed a 16-5 win over Alma and earned wins over Benedictine and Aurora in MWLC action.
Freshman midfielder Allison Kurek (Chicago, Ill./Nazareth Academy) scored two goals with one assist, five ground balls, three draw controls, and one caused turnover in a 16-5 win over Alma.
Kurek added one goal, one assist, seven ground balls, two draw controls, and a program record-tying five caused turnovers in a 13-0 win over Benedictine.
The freshman closed the week with three goals, four ground balls, five draw controls, and four caused turnovers in CUW's 16-7 win over Aurora.
Concordia will travel to Beloit for a 7:00 PM contest Thursday.

Beloit College (5-3, 2-0 MWLC) went 2-0 during the week and remained perfect in conference play. The Bucs slipped past Illinois Wesleyan 9-8 in overtime and beat Illinois Tech 14-5. Sophomore midfielder Hannah Drexler (Alexandra, Va./T.C. Williams) scored two goals with two assists, including the game-winning goal in the win over Illinois Wesleyan. Drexler added four goals and an assist in the win over Illinois Tech.
Wartburg College (2-7, 2-0 MWLC) snapped a three-match losing streak with an exciting 9-8 overtime win over Loras Sunday. Junior Ashley Lahti (Turtle Lake, Wis./H.S.) scored the game-winner in the third overtime period to give the Knights the victory.
Aurora University (3-5, 1-1 MWLC) finished the week of play with a 1-2 overall mark. Sophomore midfielder Kenny Hughes (Calgary, Alberta/Winston Churchill) scored seven goals with one assist and three ground balls in a 15-11 loss to Southwestern (TX) and added four goals, two assists, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers in a 19-8 win over Muskingum. Hughes capped the week with three goals and an assist in a 16-7 loss to Concordia.
Loras College (2-6, 1-2 MWLC) had a busy week, finishing with a 1-3 overall record. The Duhawks lone win was a 10-6 victory over Cornell College Saturday. Junior Kaitlyn Kutsch (Dubuque, Iowa/Wahlert Catholic) scored eight goals with three ground balls, four draw controls, and three caused turnovers in the win.
