WAUKESHA, WI - Loras College finished the week with a perfect 2-0 mark in non-league contests. The Duhawks (4-6, 1-2 MWLC) pulled out an 8-7 win at Wilmington and won at Hanover 9-8.
Freshman Sarah Hanson (Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) led the Duhawks offense during the two wins. The freshman scored two goals with an assist in an 8-7 win at Wilmington and closed the week with her third hat trick of the season, tallying three goals with a career-high four ground balls in a 9-8 win at Hanover.
Loras is scheduled to face Dubuque, Beloit, and Illinois Tech on the road this week.

Concordia University (6-3, 4-0 MWLC) remained perfect in MWLC action, beating Beloit 15-7 Thursday. Freshman midfielder Allison Kurek (Chicago, Ill./Nazareth Academy) caused two turnovers, picked up six ground balls, won a career-high nine draw controls, and scored a career-best five goals the win over Beloit.
Illinois Tech (2-7, 0-2 MWLC) snapped a six match losing streak with an 18-5 win over Carroll. Senior Florencia Carrerou (Montevideo, Uruguay) scored four goals with one assist, four ground balls, six draw controls, and one caused turnover in the win.
Aurora University (4-5, 2-1 MWLC) claimed another conference win, beating Wartburg 11-9 on Friday. Sophomore Kenny Hughes (Calgary, Alberta) led the Spartans with five goals, one assist, and two draw controls in the conference win.
Benedictine University (1-9, 1-2 MWLC) won its first game of the season, claiming a 6-4 win at Cornell College Friday. Sophomore Becca Gullett (Lockport, Ill./H.S.) led the way with three goals, three ground balls, and three draw controls.
