MWLC Selects Players Of The Week For April 16-22

Hamline University's Lexus Tatge and Illinois Institute of Technology's Jessica Cochis have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of April 16-22, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Tatge (Faribault, Minn.) tallied 12 goals and four assists as the Pipers clinched at least a share of the MWLC title with a 3-0 week. The junior opened the week with four goals and a pair of assists at Wartburg College Wednesday, put up five goals and an assist at Aurora University Saturday, and closed out the week with three goals and an assist at Benedictine University Sunday.

Cochis (Lilitz, Pa.) anchored the Scarlet Hawks' defense as Illinois Tech went 3-0 on the week. The goalkeeper recorded all 180 minutes at goal as she tallied 25 saves, a 7.00 GAA and a 54.3 save percentage.
