Beloit College's Kieran Rodning and Hamline University's Alyssa Bryan-Jeffries have been named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference offensive and defensive players of the week for events of February 17-23, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Rodning (Northfield, Minn.) set the school record for goals in a game as the junior midfielder scored eight in an 18-4 victory at Elmhurst College Saturday.
Bryan-Jeffries (Bloomington, Minn.) made a career-high 18 saves in the Pipers' 10-8 win over Carthage College Saturday. The junior goalkeeper posted a .692 save percentage and collected a team-high nine ground balls in the victory.
