MINNEAPOLIS--The Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference (MWLC) awards have been announced for the 2022 season. All awards are voted on by the league's head coaches.
Lake Forest College's Calliope Saban was named Defensive Player of the Year, Wartburg College's Bri Greiskalns repeated as the Midfielder of the Year, and the Foresters' Jenna Doctor was selected as the Attacker of the Year.
Lake Forest's Krissy Kuwahara was named the Rookie of the Year.
Coach of the Year honors went to Maggie Zentgraf. The Foresters won their first MWLC regular season championship and finished with an undefeated record in league play (5-0).
