MINNEAPOLIS --The four teams for the 2023 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference (MWLC) Tournament have been finalized.

The College of Saint Benedict (10-2 overall, 7-0 MWLC) won the league title for the first time to earn the top seed for the tournament. The Bennies will host fourth-seeded Cornell (10-7, 4-3) in a semifinal Wednesday, May 3 at 5:30 p.m. This is the first appearance in the tournament for both teams.

Lake Forest (7-9, 6-1) has earned the second seed and will host Northwestern (10-5, 5-2) in the other semifinal Wednesday. Game time is yet to be announced. This marks the second-straight year the Foresters have qualified for the tournament, while the Eagles earned their third-straight trip to the conference tournament. 

The two semifinal winners will meet Saturday, May 6 in the MWLC tournament final at the highest remaining seed. Game time will be announced. 

The tournament champion is the MWLC's automatic qualifier in the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
