ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- Lake Forest College defeated the College of Saint Benedict 16-6 in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference (MWLC) Tournament championship Saturday afternoon.

The Foresters won their first MWLC tournament championship and received the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament next week. 

For her efforts in the tournament, Ali Graham was named Tournament MVP.

This is the first championship under head coach Wei Chenh in Lake Forest's second year of membership in the MWLC, and second season as a varsity program.

The NCAA selection show will be Monday, May 8 at 9:30 a.m.
