Concordia University (Wis.) senior Sabrina Boehlke (Random Lake, Wis./Kewaskum) led the Falcons’ defense in two road victories last week and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
The senior had two ground balls, two draw controls, two caused turnovers, and a career-high five goals in CUW’s 15-9 win at Aurora. Boehlke followed that effort with six ground balls, one draw control and four caused turnovers in an 18-1 win at Loras.
During the week, the midfielder had eight ground balls, three draw controls and six caused turnovers to go along with six goals and two assists.
Concordia (5-0, 4-0 MWLC) is scheduled to face Carroll (Wis.) and Augustana this week.
