Beloit College senior Sarah Fithian (Plantation, Fla./South) led the Bucs to a 12-5 win over Cornell College and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The senior scored seven goals with two ground balls in the 12-5 conference win. The seven goals scored by Fithian tied a Beloit single game record.
Beloit (2-7, 2-3 MWLC) will return to action at 7:30 PM Wednesday night at home against North Central.
