Illinois Tech sophomore Cassandra Reineke (Waukegan, Ill./Carmel) helped the Scarlet Hawks win their fifth-straight match and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
The sophomore totaled four caused turnovers and three ground balls in an 11-7 conference win at Augsburg.
Illinois Tech (10-3, 5-1 MWLC) will play host to Dubuque and Concordia Chicago this week.
