Aurora University sophomore midfielder Kenny Hughes (Calgary, Alberta/Winston Churchill) led the Spartans offense during a 14-12 loss to Calvin and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The sophomore scored five goals with three ground balls as the Spartans dropped the season opener to Calvin Saturday.
Aurora (0-1, 0-0 MWLC) will return to action at home on Saturday against Robert Morris-Chicago.
