Beloit College freshman midfielder Kelley Flint (Ashburn, Va./Broad Run) helped the Bucs to a 1-1 mark last week and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
The freshman had four ground balls, two draw controls, two caused turnovers and two goals in an 11-9 loss to Carthage. Flint followed that performance with 11 ground balls, four draw controls, one caused turnover, one goal, and four assists in a 13-2 MWLC win over Benedictine.
For the week, Flint totaled 15 ground balls, six draw controls, three caused turnovers, and seven points.
Beloit (3-3, 1-0 MWLC) will play host to Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday and Illinois Tech on Saturday.
