WAUKESHA, WI - Aurora University earned the school's fourth-straight MLC title and will be the top seed in this week's tournament. The Spartans (14-2, 6-0 MLC) locked up the title with a 14-9 win over Concordia (Wis.) Saturday.
Aurora will host No. 4 seed Beloit (5-9, 3-3 MLC) at 4:30 PM Wednesday, May 4 in one of the MLC semifinals. Aurora beat Beloit 22-8 back on April 16.
Concordia (Wis.) (11-4, 5-1 MLC) earned the No. 2 seed and will host No. 3 seed Benedictine (11-4, 4-2 MLC) at 4PM Wednesday in the other MLC semifinal. The Falcons slipped past the Eagles 7-6 on April 2.
The two winners will meet at the highest remaining seed on Saturday, May 7 at a time to be determined.
