Concordia University senior Hayley Peppers (Franktown, Colo./Ponderosa) helped the Falcons to a trio of road wins last week and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
Peppers led CUW with four caused turnovers, six draw controls, and four goals in a 21-20 overtime win at North Central. The senior added seven draw controls, one ground ball, and four goals during a 21-7 conference win at Illinois Tech. Peppers finished the week with three draw controls, one caused turnover, five goals, and one assist in a 24-8 win at Augsburg.
For the week, Peppers tallied 16 draw controls, five caused turnovers, 13 goals, and one assist.
Concordia (11-6, 7-0 MWLC) will host the MWLC tourney this weekend and will open with a semifinal match-up against Benedictine at 1PM Friday.
