Concordia University (Wis.) freshman Lauren Paquin (Waukesha, Wis./West) helped the Falcons earn a pair of wins last week and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The freshman scored seven goals with two ground balls and two caused turnovers in CUW’s 17-11 win over Illinois Tech. Paquin then recorded five goals, including the game-winning free-position score, in the Falcons’ 10-9 win over North Central.
For the week, Paquin totaled 12 goals, four ground balls and three caused turnovers as CUW finished 2-0.
Concordia (3-0, 2-0 MWLC) will face Loras and Aurora in road conference matches this week.
