Beloit College sophomore midfielder Libby Storrick (Coon Rapids, Minn./H.S.) helped the Buccaneers earn wins over Loras and Fontbonne last week and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
The sophomore tallied four caused turnovers, six draw controls, and seven ground balls in a 14-8 win at Loras Wednesday and added four caused turnovers, three ground balls, and one draw control in BC’s 17-6 home win over Fontbonne Sunday.
For the week, Storrick totaled eight caused turnovers, 10 ground balls, and seven draw controls.
Beloit (5-4, 3-1 MWLC) will travel to Carthage for a conference clash Saturday at 12PM.
