Wartburg College senior Megan Howe (Monona, Iowa/MFL MarMac) helped the Knights to a 2-0 mark last week and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The senior scored five goals in the Knights’ 14-4 win over Carroll (Wis.) and added seven goals, one assist and four ground balls in a 15-6 conference win over Cornell College.
Howe’s seven goal performance against Cornell College set a new single game school record.
For the week, Howe averaged 6.0 goals and 2.0 ground balls per game.
Wartburg (5-1, 2-0 MWLC) is scheduled to face Benedictine, Dubuque and Aurora this week.
