Concordia University (Wis.) sophomore Allison Kurek (Chicago, Ill./Nazareth) helped the Falcons earn an outright MWLC title with a win over Beloit and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense for the fifth time.
The sophomore had seven goals, one assist, eight ground balls, five draw controls and seven caused turnovers during an 18-3 win over Beloit on Wednesday. Kurek then had one goal, three ground balls, five draw controls and three caused turnovers against regionally ranked Colorado College Saturday.
Concordia (13-2, 9-0 MWLC) will host No. 4 Benedictine at 1PM Friday in the MWLC Tournament Semifinals.
