Benedictine University junior Becca Gullett (Lockport, Ill./H.S.) led the Eagles to wins over Loras and Cornell College during the week and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The junior matched the single game school record with seven goals and added nine ground balls, four draw controls and one caused turnover in an 18-7 win over Loras. Gullett followed that effort with four goals, two assists, eight ground balls, seven draw controls and two caused turnovers in a 19-1 win over Cornell College.
For the week, Gullett averaged 5.5 goals, 1.0 assist, 8.5 ground balls, 5.5 draw controls and 1.5 caused turnovers per match.
Benedictine (6-5, 4-1 MWLC) will travel to Concordia (Wis.) for a 4:00 PM conference match Saturday.
