Hanover College junior goalie Addison Sears (Louisville, Ky./Dupont Manual) went 4-0 in net for the Panthers and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
The junior got the win in each of the Panthers victories last week, posting victories over Mount St. Joseph, Wilmington, MSOE, and Baldwin Wallace.
Sears allowed only 16 goals and made 23 saves, posting a .590 save percentage in 11 quarters of play during the four contests. The junior currently leads the MLC, allowing only 6.96 goals per contest.
Hanover (6-1, 2-0 MLC) will face Fontbonne and Concordia (Wis.) in league play this week.
