Aurora University junior midfielder Max Obriecht (Naperville, Ill./North) led the Spartans to a 2-0 week in league play and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The junior scored a pair of goals with three assists in a 16-4 win over Elmhurst and added eight goals with an assist in a 28-1 triumph over Fontbonne.
In the two wins, Obriecht collected 28 ground balls and was near perfect in face offs, going 29-of-31.
Aurora (2-3, 2-0 MLC) is scheduled to play at Mount St. Joseph Wednesday in conference action and will close the week against Trine Sunday.
