Aurora University freshman midfielder Andrea Colford (Eden Prairie, Minn./H.S.) led the Spartans to wins over Elmhurst and Illinois Tech and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The freshman scored two goals with two assists and two ground balls in an 11-3 win over Elmhurst and added three goals, two assists, five ground balls, two draw controls, and two caused turnovers in a 20-6 MWLC win over Illinois Tech.
Aurora (2-3, 1-0 MWLC) will play host to Southwestern (TX) and Muskingum over the weekend.
