Aurora University senior midfield Danielle Morgan (Mulkiteo, Washington/Kamiak) led the Spartans to a 1-1 mark during the week and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The senior scored four goals with three assists, two ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers in a 16-13 loss at North Central. Morgan capped off her week with five goals, one assist, three ground balls, four draw controls and one caused turnover in a 20-4 win at Beloit.
For the week, Morgan averaged 4.5 goals, 2.0 assists, 2.5 ground balls, 3.0 draw controls and 1.5 caused turnovers per match.
Aurora (7-6, 5-1 MWLC) is scheduled to face Benedictine and Augsburg on the road in league play this week.
