Carthage College senior midfielder Jack Meachum (Naperville, Ill./North) led the Red Men to a 3-0 record during the week and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The senior scored four goals with one assist, six ground balls, and five caused turnovers in a 16-6 league win over Elmhurst Wednesday. Meachum scored seven goals with three assists, five ground balls, and one caused turnover in a 24-6 win at Illinois Wesleyan and added two goals with seven assists in a 32-1 win over Dubuque during a doubleheader Saturday.
For the week, Meachum netted 13 goals with 11 assists, 12 ground balls, and six caused turnovers.
Carthage (11-4, 5-1 MLC) is scheduled to face Augustana and Mount St. Joseph on the road this week.
