Concordia University (Wis.) junior midfielder Sammi Reiter (Stillwater, Minn./H.S.) led the Falcons to wins over North Central and Beloit during the week and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The junior scored eight goals with four ground balls and two draw controls as CUW beat North Central, 14-13, for the first time in program history. Reiter followed that effort with five goals, one assist, two ground balls, eight draw controls, and a caused turnover in a 21-11 win at Beloit Thursday.
Concordia (10-3, 6-1 MWLC) will close the regular season at home against Carthage, Loras, and Dubuque this week.
