Benedictine University sophomore midfielder Becca Gullett (Lockport, Ill./H.S.) helped the Eagles win back-to-back games for the first time this season to remain alive in the conference tournament race and has been named the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
The sophomore scored three goals with four ground balls, three draw controls, and a caused turnover in a 12-11 loss to Illinois Tech. Gullett netted four goals in a 13-7 win over Carroll and added two goals in an 8-7 win at Loras.
For the week, the sophomore totaled nine goals, nine ground balls, six draw controls, and five caused turnovers.
Benedictine (3-11, 2-3 MWLC) will close the regular season against Aurora and Wartburg this week.
