Aurora University senior goalie Adam Holka (Howell, Mich./Hartland) helped the Spartans’ win streak reach 11 games with wins over Defiance and Hanover and has been named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
Holka allowed only two goals in the two wins, posting a 1.98 goals against average during the week. The senior had four saves while facing 11 shots against the Jackets and Panthers.
Aurora (11-3, 8-0 MLC) can lock up the top seed in the upcoming MLC tournament with a win over Benedictine or Augustana this week.
